Introduction

Hi guys, like last time this is again an information report but it's about Kakapo!

Did you know kakapo are endangered or its predators are stoats. If  u didn't you are in the right place.  Let's start hope you enjoy it! 

Appearance

Did you know Kakapo is the heaviest parrot in the world!.Kakapo has a round head like an owl. They love to sleep all day. They’re really friendly!.Kakapo have soft green feathers that are the color of moss and fern and that helps them to camouflage in bushes and trees. Kakapo do have wings but they can’t fly because it's way too heavy. It also has whiskers like a cat!. Did you know it can squeal like a pig!. Kakapo smell so nice that it sometimes attracts female kakapo! Because kakapo smell nice it can also attract their predators.

Food

Did you know Kakapo are Vegetarian?. It only eats Seeds, Nuts, Flowers, Roots, Fruits and soft leaves. 

Predators

Kakapo predators are Humans ( sometimes) , Eagles, Hawks, Stoats, Dogs and Cats. Some people are trying to save Kakapo from going extinct. The main Predator is  Stoats because it can eat kakapos eggs and if there is no more eggs there won't be more kakapo!!  

 Habitat

Kakapo can be found in Forests in Nz. You can only find kakapo in Nz. Kakapo can also be found in coastal areas and scrublands. The people who are trying to save kakapo have made kakapo houses in pest free islands.
